The Sugar Crystals!

Today I was learning how to make a sugar crystal with my buddy Bella we collaborated very well on this project.

I enjoyed our learning what we did it was very interesting and fun.

I found it challenging to balance the peg on the rim of the cup.

Next time I would change it to salt crystals and try diffrent materials

Connect Four

Today I was making a online slide show game of connect four. My digital objects show I did use many circles in the shape selection. My diagram of connect four is very simple. Have you ever played connect four.
I enjoyed how we could find a buddy to play against. connect four purpose is to make four counters in a row. This concerns a diagram that you place the counters on.
I found it challenging to win the game me and my buddy Kaylee won 1 round each. This is a fun game to play with family!
Next time I would change I would change my shapes and make it a more creative and interesting slide show game.

About Me!

Today I was learning how to make a quality blog post,every morning on Monday a special Rimu guest comes in to our class room she is called Miss Torrie she helps me improve on our blog making it A1 stadered for my readers who looks through my learning posts.

I enjoyed This activity because how we could do what ever we like with our post it is our own decision on the side of this post we had to follow the instructions so I knew what to do and the
expectations.

I found it challenging to choose the right colors because if you it to white you will not see the writing and if I do it dark it would not look good.


My digital learning object shows I can replace images, use the camera app, change text and backgrounds and embed my DLO in my blog I think this is something you will enjoy.


Next time I would change my font and all of the writing about me so I can tell you something diffrent.

Distance Learning Reflections

Today I was thinking about my reflections on how I felt about COVID 19 lock down and doing distance learning in my bubble safe at home.

I enjoyed the task my teachers gave me, I liked how I got home school, but I do enjoy school.

The Jumping Candle!

Today I was learning how to see what a candle can do  individual and that was  something surprising.  Its something you could do as a magic trick!
 I enjoyed  how the candle made me wiggle a little when I saw it jump to the one that was extinguished.
 I found it challenging to  understand how it worked so I searched up and soon after I had the knowledge in my head.

The Poulter Family Performance

Today I was doing a family performance! I enjoyed the performance. I found it challenging to find the beat. Next time I would change performance.

Tornado In A Bottle

Today I was making a mini tornado. I enjoyed how the water sinks in the water I found it challenging to pour the dish washing liquid in. Next time I would change the a glitter to rainbow.  

Water Illusion

Today I was making an illusion out of water. I enjoyed doing it! I found it challenging to stand the piece of paper up. Next time I would change my illusion!

Invisible Extinguisher

Today I was making an invisible extinguisher.                                                                                             I found it challenging to light the candle.                                                                                                   Next time I would make more bubbles and try to do a magic show with the trick!

Today I was doing a STEM Challenge. I enjoyed seeing it work. I found it challenging to make this video. Next time I would change the project.

How To Make A Lantern?

Today I was making a lantern. I enjoyed drawing my pictures on the lantern . I found it challenging to cut the milk carton. Next time I would change my message on the lantern.

The Parachute

Today I was making a parachute with a corny bag and some string.
I enjoyed throwing the parachute off our water tank.
I found it challenging to tie the string and the holes.
Next time I would change it to a different bag a lighter one maybe.
 

My Paper Plane

Today I was making paper planes with my sister I enjoyed helping my sister achieve her goal to finish. I found it challenging to to communicate with my sister and know what she wanted. Next time I would change on my plane the nose, and on my post more information.

Ormond School Triathlon

The School Triathlon was a good one this year. I found it easy to type all the words in this post. I liked that I really thought about how happy and proud I am writing this post and sharing it .
I found it challenging in the triathlon.

Today I was doing some research about the traditional Maori Medicine I enjoyed Finding all the facts about the special plants and how there could help illness. I found it challenging to to find all the facts it took me a while. Next time I would change probably the photos I put on my slide.
